This is the state of the Friars Lane culvert as of March 17th, 2023. The drain pipe has failed due to excess erosion. The culvert had clogged during the weather events of January 2023 resulting in water sheeting over the road, eroding the top soil, and causing the failure.

If left unmitigated, it will continue to degrade, and damage the adjacent private property.
